i just went to daily sp and read about the horrible stupid tragedy befalling plume after all the work that went into the site... people who know what i'm talking about i'm sure must feel the same way

i'd just like to commend plume for doing something that nice for the SP community, and i wholeheartedly support yr site

I visited the site this morning to find out it had closed but not completely... just checked again just then and now EVERYTHING has been taken down (( No more links, no pics, no nothing. Just a bit more info on how plume will have to pay for the amount of time Dailysp has been running... Daily SP has been around for atleast 2-3yrs too hasn't it?

Poor guy's gunna have one hefty bill

Wish Billy could have a say in the matter or something.

the site was great and Plume doesn't deserve this. its a real shame.

i don't suppose anybody else knows where we can get Mashed Potatoe mp3's now do they?

I don't understand how this can be. There is nothing illegal about hosting music downloads. This music wasn't copyrighted, therefor there is absolutly nothing illegal about it. I know he's said he can't afford a lawsuit, however what can they do? I wouldn't have thought such a case would even be let into a civil court, and it certainly wouldn't go to a criminal court.

If it was between a lawsuit, and taking the site down, then perhaps he made the right decision... However there is no way he should pay them royalties for music that isn't even theirs. He should just leave the site down, and tell KODA that they can fuck right off, because they don't have a leg to stand on, demanding money from him.

Oh my god that sucks so much, I got so much stuff from that site, I almost cant believe that this just happened, I meanthe music was live so its not like it matters, and doesnt the members of the band get to decide wether they prosecute or not, I feel so sorry for the guy who made the site, it really was quality and I know a lot of time whent into it. All I can say is it was good like it lasted but
